Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
While Dr. Mercer looked into different healthcare careers during his college years, he started shadowing different fields and quickly fell in love with dentistry. For him, there was no other choice!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After graduating from Harding University, Dr. Mercer earned his dental degree from the University of Tennessee. Today, he has over a decade of experience and completed hundreds of hours of continuing education focused on all aspects of general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. He also stays on top of the latest findings in the field through his membership in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Mercer loves watching Razorback football (he’s a season ticket holder), being active in his church, and enjoying the outdoors through fishing and kayaking. He just took up golf last year, and to relax, nothing makes him happier than being on the couch with his Giant Schnauzer, Heidi.
