Digital Impressions

In the past, the process of taking dental impressions involved gooey, foul-tasting impression materials and tedious physical labor on your dentist’s part.  It was often lengthy and uncomfortable for patients, and it didn’t always lead to accurate results – meaning the process would end up needing to be repeated! Thankfully, these days things are much easier, and we can use our iTero scanner to take fully digital impressions of your mouth and oral structures, which can be used to craft a variety of restorations and oral appliances.

CT/Cone Beam Scanner

Dentistry involves caring not just for the teeth, but also the gums and every other oral structure within the mouth. To help with this, it’s useful to be able to view every part of the mouth in incredible detail, and cone beam CT scanners enable this. This device has an extendable arm that can rotate 360 degrees, meaning it’s able to capture a 3D image of your whole mouth’s anatomy with ease. From there, accurately planning out treatment is remarkably simplified!

Soft Tissue Laser

When you hear the word “laser,” dentistry might not come to mind – but lasers have made a largely positive impact on how dentists are able to care for patients. Our office in Rogers houses all sorts of innovative dental instruments, including our diode soft tissue laser. This device makes treatment easier for all parties involved; it decreases patient discomfort, encourages faster recovery, and drastically improves conditions, such as inflammation due to gum disease.

Intraoral Camera

In dentistry, there’s perhaps no greater advantage than being able to take a closer look at various oral structures, and our intraoral camera allows us to do just that! This instrument is a specialized wand-like device with a digital camera on one end that’s connected to a nearby monitor. We can use it to scope out every nook and cranny of your smile, making hidden problems easier to spot and treatment easier to accurately plan.
